Nine Bridges Golf & Residence Club

Nine Bridges is a golf course that makes you doubt the comparative merit of every other golf course you've ever played. I have stood on this course with clients who have played Augusta National and heard them say that Nine Bridges is better. I am not in a position to confirm or deny this because I have not played Augusta. What I can confirm is that the claim was made in complete seriousness by someone who has.
The course plays through Hallasan mountain terrain — ancient volcanic rock, bamboo groves, and azalea forests — with a bunkering vocabulary and a green speed that rewards only precise thinking. The caddies have worked this course for decades and know lines that appear nowhere in any yardage book. Use them.
Private, member-introduction access only. Green fee ¥700,000 (approximately £415). We access Nine Bridges through a Korean intermediary we have worked with since 2019. These slots are genuinely limited. South Korea is the golf destination that does not yet have the name recognition it deserves in the UK market. This will change.
Signature hole
Par-4 18th, 452 yards, finishing hole
"The final approach plays to an elevated green with the clubhouse and Hallasan mountain behind it. There is no more impressive finishing hole in Asia, and very few in the world."
