Seasonal Guide
Best time to play Turkey
Hot Mediterranean. Belek averages 300 sunshine days per year. Winter is very mild (15°C January average). Summer is genuinely too hot for midday golf — very early tee times are essential.

James's Tips for Golfers
- 01 All-inclusive in Turkey genuinely includes golf at many properties — check this before booking separately
- 02 The Belek resort corridor runs from the airport for about 15km — all major courses are within this zone
- 03 Caddie culture is less developed than Portugal but improving — most courses offer buggies as standard
- 04 Carry enough GBP/EUR cash for tips and any extras outside the resort
- 05 Turkish lira has been volatile — lock in your package price in GBP early
Must-Play Courses
Carya Golf Club
18 holes · Par 71 · Nick Faldo design. European Tour qualifier host. Best course in Belek
Gloria Golf Club — New Course
18 holes · Par 71 · Host of the Turkish Airlines Open qualifier. Excellent conditioning
Regnum Carya Golf
18 holes · Par 72 · Newest course in Belek. Practice facilities are Europe-class
Sueno Golf Club — Dunes
18 holes · Par 72 · Links-style through sand dunes. Very different to other Belek courses
For Non-Golfers
Antalya old town (30 minutes) is outstanding — Roman-era architecture, excellent restaurants, and a harbour that's genuinely beautiful. The ancient sites of Termessos and Aspendos are nearby. The resort zone itself has excellent spas at every major hotel.

Carya Golf Club
★★★★★Kyle Phillips · from £120
Carya Golf Club is ranked in the world's top 100 courses, and most people who play golf have never heard of it. That gap between quality and fame is the most striking thing about Belek as a destination, and Carya is its clearest illustration.
Regnum Carya — PGA Sultan
★★★★David Jones · from £130
Rory McIlroy stood on the 18th tee needing a birdie to win the Turkish Airlines Open here. He made it. I have tried to birdie the 18th at PGA Sultan for fifteen years and it will not let me.
