Moortown Golf Club, Leeds
Moortown Golf Club, established in 1909, is a sound test for the more experienced golfer. This championship course, near Leeds, was designed by leading golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie who was also responsible for Augusta National , Cypress Point and Royal, Melbourne. Moortown hosted the first Ryder Cup on British soil in 1929. Steeped in history, the facilities are up to date including an impressive warm-up area.
