Pinhal Golf Course, Vilamoura

Pinhal at Vilamoura is a well-established golf course at this golf resort on the Algarve. Frank Pennink is the original designer back in 1976 and Robert Trent Jones senior made a number of changes in 1985. Crossing undulating parkland many of the fairways are lined by pine trees. Watch out for the Umbrella and Atlantic pines dotted about the fairways and the approach to the greens. There is some water on Pinhal, but it should not pose a threat.
