Pinheiros Altos Golf Course, Almancil

Pinheiros Altos is close to the Rio Formosa reserve and is an underplayed gem. Designed by Ronald Fream the lovely course has narrow, tree-lined fairways which wander through the pretty terrain to the tricky greens. Good driving and approaches are well-rewarded.
