Granville Golf Club

Laid out in 1912 Granville, like many seaside courses in France, suffered during WWII (and WWI) and a lack of love after. Now it’s back to its very best after a lot of work and investment and a serious redesign (but it’s still cheaper than building a new course!). With 27 holes, Granville is a classic links with the main 18 holes reaching nearly 7000 yards off the back with a relentless stretch of tough holes on the front nine before you can regain your score on a relatively easy back nine. The par 33, 9 hole course is brilliant for after lunch. With sensational coastal views and some beautifully crafted fairways, you’ll be smiling even if your card is not so happy.
