Saint Donat Golf Club, Grasse

Saint Donat is another good course designed by a big name in golf architecture…Robert Trent Jones. Saint Donat sits just outside Mougins and provides a fine mix of short and long and wide and tight holes. There are plenty of bunkers but they’re large and shallow so should not pose too much of a problem. The fairways are quite generous except for the short par fours where strategy is far more important than giving the ball a good hit. There are several good holes and Saint Donat offers an enjoyable game of golf without reaching the levels of four or five of the other courses in the region.
