Grenoble Charmeil Golf Club is possibly the best course around this fascinating city. The lush course sits in a beautiful valley and has many superb holes. The course hosts the LPGA Tour Qualifying School and was designed by American Jeremy Pern. Easy walking through oak and pine woodland, there are some water hazards and plenty of dog-legs to negotiate, although the par of 73 (6715 yards off the back) is quite generous.
