Wantzenau Golf Club, La Wantzenau

Yet another big-name golf designer in this region – this time Jeremy Pern. Wantzenau is a modern course which is just as pretty but less challenging than Kempferhof and Soufflenheim . The warm welcome starts at the striking but surprisingly cosy clubhouse and that easy going feeling extends to the front nine where the fairways are generous and you can build a good score. The course changes on the back nine with more bunkers and water hazards but nothing too frightening. The setting is scenic and the terrain is flat, so enjoy the game and get set for some terrific food on the clubhouse terrace.
