Reims-Champagne Golf Club, Gueux

Created by Tom Simpson in 1928, Golf de Reims Champagne was originally a nine-hole course. Micheal Fenn extended the course to 18 holes in 1973. Over the last few years the course and clubhouse have been transformed as Reims-Champagne marches towards its centenary. The club is owned by a group of Champagne producers and, as you would expect, bubbly is on tap in the clubhouse. The course is flat with quite tricky woodland measuring about 6700 yards off the whites. The Slope Rating is 134 with a mix of quite long par fours and some par fives where you could get a birdie.
