Vaugouard looks difficult at first but it’s very playable if you’re not greedy. This is a course where the first shot is the most important as the bunkers and dog-legs can catch the wayward drive. Play short of the hazards and accept a slightly longer shot to the green and you won’t go wrong. The back nine features a wandering stream that merits attention on no less than four holes.
