With 18 holes cut through an ancient forest Chateau de Raray Golf Club at Senlis is a treat. The start is straightforward but you soon enter the woods and the holes get cleverer and the course even more attractive. There are some fabulous par fives and long par-threes. Colin Montgomerie describes the greens as the truest in France, For the afternoon round, there’s a nine hole par 35 and a pitch and putt to tighten up your short game. The clubhouse is a fairytale chateau. It's a great course to play on your way to Chantilly or on your way back to the Eurotunnel.
