The Story
She gets the golf right. She also gets everything else right.
Sarah spent eight years as Director of Golf Sales at Fairmont Hotels, working across properties in Portugal, France, and the Caribbean. She has inspected more than 180 resort properties personally — not from a brochure, from the room.
She joined Dormie because she kept sending her hotel clients to travel companies who got the golf right and the rest completely wrong. The flights were chaos, the hotel was the wrong category, the partner who didn't play had nothing to do. She built a better version.
Her specialty is the mixed-group trip — where two or three couples travel together, some play golf every day, some play once or twice, and everyone needs to be happy at dinner. She is very good at this.
"
The best golf trips I've ever arranged were the ones where someone at the table didn't play a single round — and still said it was the best holiday of their life.

The couple who nearly didn't come back
A client called me three weeks before departure. His wife had decided she didn't want to come. She'd been on golf trips before — long days alone by the pool while he played 36 holes, dinner when he was too tired to talk. She was done with it.
I called her myself. Not to sell her anything. Just to ask what she actually wanted from a week away. Spa. Good food. A day trip. A beach. To feel like the holiday was for her too, not just an excuse for him to play golf.
I rebuilt the itinerary around both of them. The Anantara Vilamoura. Tee times at 7am so he was back by noon. A cooking class. A boat trip to Benagil. Dinner at a place she chose every night.
She called me when they got back. She asked when they could go again.
Sarah recommends
Six courses for every kind of golfer
Portugal
Vilamoura Old Course
"Still the best course in the Algarve for a mid-handicapper. 50 years of pine trees. The clubhouse is excellent. The 15th green is the most photographed in Portugal."
Tenerife
Golf Costa Adeje
"The volcanic barranco layout is unlike anything else in Europe. Hotel Bahia del Duque next door. The combination is unbeatable for a mixed-group week."
Mauritius
Constance Belle Mare
"The Links course is serious golf. The resort is the best beach property in the Indian Ocean. The non-golfer never once feels like they're waiting for someone."
Cyprus
Aphrodite Hills
"Championship layout with views of the Aegean. The InterContinental is directly attached. It is the perfect resort for a group where half play and half don't."
Mallorca
Son Muntaner
"Members-only on a typical day. We have access. Rolling hills, olive groves, views to the bay. The best post-round lunch of any course I have ever visited."
Portugal
Quinta do Lago North
"More forgiving than the South but no less beautiful. Lago walk for partners. The resort has enough to keep everyone occupied for a week without leaving the property."
Not everyone plays golf. That's fine.
Sarah specialises in trips where the whole group has a brilliant time — golfers and non-golfers alike. Tell her who's coming and what everyone needs. She'll design around all of them.
