Mauritius: Golf & Paradise
Overview
Indian Ocean luxury, colonial grandeur, and courses that rival anything in the world.
Mauritius is the world's most beautiful golf backdrop — full stop. Courses run between sugar cane and the turquoise lagoon; others climb into the black basalt mountains of the interior. The island's colonial heritage fills the clubhouses with character, while the five-star hotels deliver a standard of service that is, simply, the finest in the world.
Who this is for
Best suited to golfers who want a proper beach holiday where golf is a daily option rather than the only reason to be there. The courses are genuinely excellent but the real draw is the setting — if your group is mixed golfers and non-golfers, this is your answer. Serious low-handicappers focused purely on course quality may find the variety limited.
