One of South Africa's top 20 courses, and the most forgiving of Fancourt's three championship layouts.

Gary Player's most demanding layout on the estate. Rolling parkland with the Outeniqua mountains ever-present. The Montagu demands accuracy where the Outeniqua forgives — a proper test. Afternoon: explore George town, the Outeniqua mountain pass, and the railway museum.

The most exclusive golf experience in South Africa — open only to hotel guests, never sold as a day green fee. Peter Matkovich's links design hosted the 2003 President's Cup. Bernhard Langer designed the Île aux Cerfs course around the island's natural contours — ocean on one side, lagoon on the other.
