Overview

Thailand's golf capital. Where the greens are fast and the king plays.

Hua Hin is a three-hour drive south of Bangkok but it might as well be a different world. Royal palaces, quiet beaches, and more championship golf per square kilometre than anywhere else in the country. Black Mountain alone is worth the flight.

Who this is for

Perfect for groups where some play and some don't. Hua Hin has exceptional beach and spa facilities alongside the golf. Works brilliantly for couples trips. November–March is the ideal window — warm, dry, and the courses are in prime condition.

Banyan Golf Club

18 holes · Par 72

Coconut palms, sea glimpses, and a closing hole that requires real nerve. One of the most enjoyable rounds in Thailand.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course

18 holes · Par 72

Thailand's oldest golf course, opened 1924. Colonial clubhouse, towering trees, and a charm that modern courses cannot manufacture.

November to March is peak season — dry, 27–32°C, excellent conditions. April is acceptable. May–October is the Gulf of Thailand monsoon — courses stay open but conditions are variable and rain can interrupt play. The core winter months are reliable.
